And had the Hollywood socialite not been named Paris, she probably would have been called China. It may sound strange but it is true. ""No, no, I wasn't conceived in Paris,"" Paris laughed when someone asked her how she got the name. ""My parents had thought of names like China and Paris for me and finally they opted for Paris. In fact, my best friend is called India,"" said Paris, amidst loads of giggles and laughter in the audience.
Prodigal daughter of the Hilton family, Paris, who has been given titles like 'Billion Dollar Entrepreneur' and 'Fabulous Fashionista' by the magazines worldwide, is on a business visit to the commercial capital of the country - Mumbai. She has entered the Indian market with her signature collection of affordable luxury handbags and accessories with great aplomb.
