Breast Models Earn Fulsome Rewards

The exceptionally high financial rewards for being a "breast model" in China -- over one million yuan a year (US$152,000) -- is luring even middle-aged women to offer themselves for shoots. However, there are also reports that some young women have sacrificed themselves in order to get higher exposure.

 The new phenomenon in recent years seems to confirm the statement that some Chinese women's careers can be determined by the size of their cleavage.

 Asian women are generally not as busty as their peers in the west. Nonetheless, becoming a breast model is still down to the gifts bestowed by nature as no manufacturing companies or cosmetic surgery clinics want to hire artificial breasts to promote their products and services.

There is presently a huge demand for such models because lingerie suppliers and hospitals have to constantly renew the photos for their promotion literature or commercials. In Beijing alone there are several thousand women who draw annual incomes ranging from 100,000 yuan (US$15,200) to over one million yuan per year.
